Prohibition Era Fireplace Mantel with Secret Dry Bar Compartment
Unique piece dating back to the Prohibition Era. This rosewood fireplace mantel is hand-painted and decorated in an essential Art Deco style. The mantel front opens revealing a hidden compartment that can accommodate a dry bar. The sides of the mantel are also hallow and can accommodate bottles. The hearth is painted Pompeii red.
Measures: 43x50x11. Good condition with minor chips and paint loss consistent with age.
Only the mantel is being sold. Other items depicted inside or outside the wooden mantel are for illustration purpose only and are not included. The marble base is not part of the original mantel but can be gifted to local pick-up customers.
